Mike Gould, G <br />& P, confirmed they will accommodate this request. <br /> <br />Hoffman asked the drive-thru's hours of operation, and if the pr posal provides ample <br />lighting for customer safety. The next step would be to hold a public hea ing with the Planning <br />Commission on June 16, and make final presentation to Counci on June 23, <br /> <br />The district, MX Mixed Use District, would provide a flexible ramework for <br />development of high intensity mixed uses in accordance with th Highway 8 Corridor <br />Study. The MX District would be a place where buildings and the street have a <br />relationship and residents; employees and shoppers have dedica ed and safe walking <br />pathways; and uses are integrated and buildings appear related r connected, <br /> <br />Benke asked why Midwest Asphalt was not included in the dra , Mattila acknowledged <br />that this was an error and Midwest Asphalt is indeed included i this District. <br /> <br />Benke asked if the draft will be reviewed with area businesses, hamber of Conlluerce, <br />and the media, Mattila said staff will meet with businesses loc ted within the corridor <br />and the public hearing will allow for community input. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Rice Creek Shopping <br />Center Site Plan <br />Report 98-118 <br /> <br />New Mixed Zoning <br />District <br />Report 98-119 <br />
