The City
financed the improvements, with the exception of the tennis courts which were
subsidized with a State of Minnesota Grant. In early 1980 the school district declared the
property surplus and sold it to a developer who subsequently converted the building into
condominiums, The land on which the tennis courts were located was also sold,
Anderson went on to explain that the City did retain 5 acres for park purposes. The
developer agreed to replace the tennis courts, at his expense, at the time he developed
the area on which they had been built.

Council Businefl~

N utec Construction
Redevelopment of site
at Co.Rd D/Cleveland
LP-339
Report No. 98-095

Address Changes
Old H wy ,8 Corridor
Report No. 98-096
Ordinance No. 641

No Parking on 29th
Ave NW by Hidden
Oak Park
Report No, 98-97
Resolution No, 98-056

Tennis Courts for
Silver Oaks Park
Report No. 98-098
