<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 25, 1997 <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Council Business. continued <br /> <br />Fulton believes data should be compiled into a report for Council review, and noted <br />possible legal issues if unwarranted stop signs are installed. <br /> <br />Benke asked if continuation to January 27, 1998, would impact the neighborhood. <br />Kelley said staff will continue to provide enforcement until the issue is resolved. <br />Samuelson agrees that a continued focus should be provided. <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by, to CONTINUE CONSIDERATION OF THE <br />16TH AVENUE SW STOP SIGNS TO THE JANUARY 27, 1998, COUNCIL <br />MEETING TO ALLOW STAFF TIME TO COLLECT TRAFFIC DATA FOR <br />FURTHER REVIEW BY COUNCIL. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Mattila presented a site plan review and special use permit to construct a second water <br />treatment facility on the MacGillis and Gibbs site (550 - 5th Ave. NW) to clean up <br />contaminated groundwater under the site. <br /> <br />The facility complies with district and special use permit standards. This facility is the <br />second of two facilities to clean contaminated groundwater pumped from a forced main <br />connected to an underground well. The water would be cleaned and pumped through a <br />forced main to the City's sewer system. The facility is temporary (30 years), however, <br />the building would be built with aggregate panels, tinted windows, and concrete curbing. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION APPROVING SP-202; APPROVE LP-334 SUBJECT <br />TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br />1. APPROVAL OF AND CONTINUING COMPLIANCE WITH SP-202. <br />2.
