Fulton will <br />follow-up. <br /> <br />Benke acknowledged that it is very frustrating for Council to see an issue exist for so <br />long. <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />Rebelein said Community Partnership for Youth activities are underway at Christ the <br />King Church with much success. However, there is a need for more volunteers. <br /> <br />Samuelson requested a report on traffic control along 16th Ave. SW. In regards to <br />lnnsbruck Park, she requested information on the pond remediation and installation of <br />tennis courts. <br /> <br />Larson received calls from residents noting some campaign literature has not listed <br />disclaimers or disclosures of the accuracy of facts stated in candidates' brochures. It is a <br />requirement that candidates list these disclaimers in their literature. <br /> <br />Larson encouraged people to be more aware when driving at night. A recent accident <br />involved a car hitting a bicyclist on Mississippi. <br /> <br />Matalamaki thanked Council for opportunity to serve as Councilmember of the month. <br /> <br />Because the next scheduled Council meeting is on Veterans Day, it is requested that <br />meeting be moved to November 10. <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Larson, to CHANGE THE MEETING DATE OF <br />THE NOVEMBER 11,1997, COUNCIL MEETING TO NOVEMBER 10,1997. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />The Association of Minnesota Municipalities will meet November 13. <br /> <br />The Irondale Marching Band performed very well at a recent regional competition. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Moti<;:>>fby Larson, seconded by Samuelson, to ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes ~-O Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Meeting was adJourned at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br />~~L <br /> <br />Robert J.
