Benke confirmed <br />that a $72,000 valued property would see an increase of $7; and a $125,000 valued <br />property would see an increase of $20. Samuelson added that these quoted increases <br />would be the very maximum. <br /> <br />In the fall, Council will hold a series of workshops to determine the final levy amount. <br />A public hearing for certification of the 1998 tax levy and budget will be held December <br />10 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Larson, seconded by Samuelson, to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT <br />THE RESOLUTION DECLARING THE MAXIMUM TAX LEVY FOR 1998. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />The Youth Summit will be held September 30,7:00 p.m., at the Family Service Center. <br /> <br />The Neighborhood Network meeting will be held September 25,7:00 p.m., at Christ the <br />King Lutheran Church. <br /> <br />The Chamber of Commerce Fall Gala will be held September 18. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Larson, to ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 7:48 p.m. <br /> <br />/6?~ <br />Robert J.
