Jeanetta explained that those part-time positions were <br />brought into parity with their full time equivalents. This parity occurred over a three year <br />period and 1997 was the final year for those increases. Ludwig award from the League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) for LMC A wards <br />outstanding elected official in the State of Minnesota. This award reflects Benke's quarter <br />of a century leadership in this community. Benke thanked everyone for the nomination. <br /> <br />Senator Steve Novak was named the outstanding legislator of the year by the LMC.
