John Hallenbeck, CB <br />Commercial, said the site provides for additional users, however, separation of <br />frequencies may disrupt service. US West previously considered the water tower site <br />south of Silver Lk. Rd., but found it required three variances. <br /> <br />Fulton asked if US West explored sites along 1-35W and 1-694. Hallenbeck explained <br />that US West owns 31 switchbox locations throughout the Metro Area, and they may <br />have interest in another site along the 35W Corridor. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Samuelson, to APPROVE LP-323, SUBJECT TO <br />THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: <br />1. ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Benke asked if a task force should review creation of a master plan for antenna <br />locations. Fulton said New Brighton's ordinance has been used as a model for other <br />cities, and recommends the Cable Commission be involved in creation of a plan. <br /> <br />Gunderman requested the Public Policy Commission review issues relating to the use of <br />rights-of-way for private advertising purposes. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Benke, to REQUEST THE PUBLIC POLICY <br />COMMISSION TO CONSIDER PUBLIC POLICY IMPLICATIONS OF THE USE <br />OF PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR ADVERTISING AND OTHER PURPOSES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />Gunderman thanked everyone involved in the Westward Ho Project. <br /> <br />The Ramsey County League of Local Governments will meet on April 29. <br /> <br />New Brighton's 110th birthday celebration will be April 24. <br /> <br />The City of Fridley thanked New Brighton for its flood relief assistance. <br /> <br />Adiournment <br /> <br />Motion by Samuelson, seconded by Williams, to ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes -..{l Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 9:51 p.m. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Robert J.
