<br />Petition for a city access path between Rosewood
<br />Court and 14th Ave.

<br />The below signed individuals would like to see an access paved
<br />path created between the new Rosewood Court development and 14th
<br />street. A primary concern is access for children and playmates living on
<br />either side of the barrier of lots 8 and 9. Presently they must go out to
<br />Long Lake Road, cross the street to the side walk on the west side of Long
<br />Lake Road, cross a busy 14th street and then recross Long Lake Road, all of
<br />which is on a dangerous curve and busy street. This circuitous route
<br />involves a quarter of a mile which could be accomplished more safely by
<br />creating an approximately 100' paved path which would allow bicycle,
<br />tricycle, rollerblade, skateboard, and walking access between these streets.
<br />
<br />This is a small request and cost which provides community safety and
<br />a natural access between these two adjacent developments. Walkers,
<br />joggers and adult bike riders would also find this convenient. This
<br />provision was in the original plat plans for the Creek View development
<br />but was eliminated in later versions.
