A primary concern is access for children and playmates living on <br />either side of the barrier of lots 8. and 9. Presently they must go out to <br />Long Lake Road, cross the street to the side walk on the west side of Long <br />Lake Road, cross a busy 14th street and then recross Long Lake Road, all of <br />which is on a dangerous curve and busy street. This circuitous route <br />involves a quarter of a mile which could be accomplished more safely by <br />creating an approximately 100' paved paQ which would allow bicycle, <br />tricycle, rollerblade, skateboard, and walking access between these streets. <br /> <br />This is a small request and cost which provides community safety and <br />a natural access between these two adjacent developments. Walkers, <br />joggers and adult bike riders would also find this convenient.
