Wiessner is a New Brighton resident and a <br />candidate for Ramsey County Commissioner District 2. <br /> <br />Consent Aienda <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Larson, to APPROVE THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA ITEMS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSOLIDATED VOUCHERS: 070488-070704 FOR A GRAND TOTAL <br />OF $521,043.65. <br /> <br />2. JOHN THE BAPTIST <br />CHURCH ON NOVEMBER 10, 1996. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Public Hearin~ - None <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />City Planner Erny Mattila presented a site plan review and nonconforming use permit to <br />construct two garage structures on an apartment site, 650-7oo-730--10th St. NW. <br /> <br />Mattila outlined the existing site nonconformities: uncurbed parking lot, unenclosed <br />parking stalls, setback from rear property line, unenclosed dumpsters, parking lot <br />encroachment, and void of landscape. The applicant proposes the following <br />improvements: 13 enclosed parking stalls, enclosed dumpsters, obtain parking and <br />driveway easement rights for encroachments, and new landscaping. The improvements <br />would bring the situation closer into compliance with the ordinance. <br /> <br />Williams feels this proposal will make substantial property improvements, and asked if <br />the City Forester reviewed the landscape plan.
