Resolution No. 06-057. <br /> <br />The City planner explained the applicant is proposing two minor changes and one <br />more significant change to the existing Comprehensive Sign Plan. The first minor <br />change deals with signs above windows within building c, and the second minor <br />Ege deals with temporary signs in Building E. The more significant change <br />s with directory style signs for Building E. <br />Planning Co:mrnission and Staff both recorrunend approval of the Special Use <br />Pennit. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Bauman, seconded by Council Member Hoffman to <br />approve the Special Use Permit subject to the three conditions noted in the attached <br />resolution. <br /> <br />4 Ayes w 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />6. Larry Brown on behalf of McDonald's (LP2006-004), 1168 Silver Lake <br />Road, Site Plan review in order to construct an additional drive-thru <br />lane within the property. Report No. 06-143. Resolution No. 06-058. <br /> <br />The City Planner gave an overview of the proposed additional drive through lane. <br />The Planning co:mrnission voted 4-1 to approve the request; the dissenting <br />E:mrniSSiOner was concerned about blocking off the southerly parking staUs. <br />ouncil member Bauman questions the owners thoughts on the blocked off <br />arking staUs. <br />Ms. Gundlach stated the owner felt there was adequate parking. <br />Council Member Bauman expressed concern with traffic at the windows. <br />Council Member Hoffman stated the stacking issue would be moved from a public <br />site onto the private site of the current McDonalds. <br /> <br />5.
