<br />Page 7 - July 11. 2006 New Brighton Council Minutes <br />Council Member Sharon Doffing - Planning Commission <br />Planning Commission next meets in 1 week. <br />(unCil Member Doffing reviewed financial audit, her intent was to question the <br />hange order item on tonight's agenda. Concern was expressed with the unapproved <br />ange orders, she requested clarification as to amounts of all unapproved change <br />rders. <br />It was reported that the Planning Commission agendas are on the web site. <br /> <br />Council Member Gina Bauman - Economic Development Commission <br />Economic Development Commission met earlier that day. The same ongoing proJects <br />were discussed. Post office eminent domain court date is scheduled for August 9t . <br />Staubauch Development is hoping to develop the office building by 2009-2010; The <br />primary tenant is expected to be the Teamster Union, although all local unions need <br />to agree on this location. <br />Brighton Village: Krause Anderson is receiving bids for debris removal. <br />The proposed hotel is currently conducting a market study for feasibility. <br />Marvs Transmission is doing a clean up, anticipated opening is spring 2007. Taylor <br />Property is looking into 40,000 square foot two story single use office building. <br />Business Council meeting scheduled for July 25th at 7:30 a.m. at the Family Service <br />Center, Room 137B. <br /> <br />Mayor Larson <br />layor Larson received a letter from Independent School District 621 stating that the <br />eals on Wheels program currently housed at the Family Service Center will be <br />locating to the Pike Lake Education Center for financial reasons. <br />Mayor Larson announced the three latest additions to City Staff; Amy Zustiak-Police <br />Officer, Kevin Mannetter-Assistant Finance Director and Sandy Breuer-Director of <br />Parks and Recreation. <br />Mounds View Community Theater will be presenting "The Sound of Music." <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Doffing to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8:06 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~i1!ic.--f Il-)44t{~ <br />aniel A.
