<br />Page 6 - July 11, 2006 New Brighton Council Minutes <br />Nays: Mayor Larson, Council Members Hoffman and Burg <br /> <br />lotion by Council Member Burg seconded by Council Member Hoffman to <br />prove the hire of the search firm Sathe & Associates for the search of the City <br />anager. <br /> <br />3 Ayes w 2 Nays, Motion Carried <br />Ayes: Mayor Larson, Council Members Hoffman and Burg <br />Nays: Council Members Doffing and Bauman <br /> <br />3. Consideration of First Amendment to Contract for Private Redevelopment <br />with Ryan Builders, Inc. for Development at 200 5th Ave. NW. Report No. <br />06-157. <br /> <br />It was determined that this item was moved to Council Business inadvertently. <br />No discussion occurred. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Burg seconded by Council Member Hoffman to approve <br />the attached First Amendment to Contract for Private Redevelopment with Ryan <br />IUilders. Iue. for developmeut at 200 5" Ave NW. <br /> <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Commission Liaison Reports. Announcements. and Updates <br />Municipal Advisory Commission Reports: <br /> <br />Council Member Mary Burg - Public Safety Commission <br /> <br />Council Member Burg stated that the Public Safety Department is preparing for <br />National Night Out. A food drive will occur, as well as an emphasis placed on <br />"Project Lifesaver." Active Living Ramsey County meeting was attended, this <br />group focuses on connecting bike trails and walkways thorough the County. <br /> <br />Council Member Ann Hoffman - Parks, Recreation, and Environmental Commission <br />Next Parks, Recreation, and Environmental Commission meeting will be <br />iedneSday, August 2nd. Recognition was expressed to Jason West and the entire <br />rks and Recreations department for dedication in the absence of a full time <br />irector. The new full time Director of Parks and Recreation; Sandy Breuer will be <br />arting employment on Monday, July 24th. <br /> <br />3.
