E TO THE SUBJECT SITE AND WOULD BE LOCATED AS <br />FAR EAST AS POSSIBLE. <br />THE BERM ON THE NORTHSIDE OF THE SUBJECT SITE SHALL BE <br />RETAINED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Benke requested Roach and Reed be updated on the access road realignment. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Firefighter Jeff Coleman presented the bids for the Tele-Squirt Pumper truck. <br /> <br />Two bids were received and included identical options and trade-in for Pumper #798. <br />The bids were: General Safety Equipment Corporation - $411,520; and Pierce Fire <br />Equipment Company - $421,838. Staff recommends the award be made to General <br />Safety based on their low bid, proven track record, and location within the Metro Area. <br />The expected delivery date would be between January I-January 31, 1997. <br /> <br />Fulton noted that the budgeted amount for the equipment was $400,000, and staff will <br />look at the most attractive financing methods.
