<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 25, 1995 <br /> <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />Benke informally announced his intention to seek reelection this fall. This will more <br />than likely be his last attempt for reelection. <br /> <br />National Night Out will be August 1, and 40 neighborhood parties are scheduled. <br /> <br />Council and the Parks, Recreation, and Environmental Resources Commission will <br />meet on July 31 to discuss senior programs and congregate dining. <br /> <br />Gunderman will be involved in a cable program addressing youth education in our <br />community, also, he intends to seek reelection this fall. <br /> <br />Larson announced that he will seek reelection this fall. <br /> <br />Northwest Youth and Family Services will hold their fundraiser on September 14. <br /> <br />Medtox Lab is in the process of consolidating their business. Staff will investigate. <br /> <br />Benke suggested that Ramsey County be invited to an upcoming Council meeting to <br />present their strategic visioning plan. <br /> <br />Announcements & <br />Updates <br /> <br />Benke Reelection <br /> <br />National Night Out <br /> <br />Senior Programs <br /> <br />Gunderman Reelection <br /> <br />Larson Reelection <br /> <br />NWYFS Fundraiser <br /> <br />Medtox Lab <br /> <br />County Visioning Plan <br /> <br />Benke and other League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) past presidents have sent a letter LMC building <br />to Governor Carlson in support of the new LMC facility. <br /> <br />Benke and other neighboring community leaders have been meeting regularly to TCAAP Site <br />discuss the reutilization of the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant site. <br /> <br />AQjournment <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Samuelson, to ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8: 10 p.m. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />
