The
dock area would be covered by an extended roof and enclosed by an extended wall.
The Planning Commission recommends approval.

Gunderman asked if the adjacent property owners have been contacted. Mattila said
the City is not required to notify property owners, however, the City did provide
information to those adjacent property owners. The City has not received any
feedback from these property owners.

Samuelson asked the timing of the information distributed to the property owners.
Mattila said the information was released as soon as the applicant had available data.
Samuelson feels that if there was any opposition to this project, those property
owners had ample time to respond. Mattila noted that V.S. Tire representatives also
contacted those adjacent property owners; and the adjacent business, Accurate
Components, was contacted because of the need to reroute the access easement.

Dan Bongers, V.S. Tire President, explained that construction would begin this fall
with completion in February 1995.

Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Samuelson, to APPROVE LP~294, SUBJECT
TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. RCWD PERMIT APPRO V AL.
2. APPROVAL OF GRADING AND DRAINAGE PLANS BY CITY
ENGINEER.
3.
