<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 12, 1994 <br /> <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates. continued <br /> <br />Mr. Casserly noted that the National Handicapped Housing project is moving <br />forward. Economic Development Specialist Jill Hanson said the project involves the <br />construction of an handicap accessible housing facility on Palmer Drive. The <br />project is moving along at a faster pace than expected and the HUD funding request <br />has been approved. <br /> <br />Announcements and <br />Updates <br /> <br />Handicapped Housing <br />Facility <br /> <br />Casserly noted that the Medical Devices project is the first one that the City has Medical Devices <br />participated and received an economic recovery grant from the State. The grant <br />would provide the City with the first $100,000 from the project which could then be <br />used to assist other businesses wishing to redevelop in the City. He feels Belair <br />Builders has been instrumental in moving the Medical Devices project forward. <br /> <br />Adiournment Adiournment <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Larson, to ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8:28 p.m. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Robert J.
