He explained that TIF District #24 involves the
revitalization of the Rice Creek Shopping Center. At this time, staff continues to
compile pertinent information regarding this issue and recommends the public
hearing be continued to the July 12th Council Meeting.

Locke noted that the district would encompass a portion of the Rice Creek Shopping
Center. The basis of the project involves the proposal for construction of a senior
housing facility, renovation of a portion of the existing center, upgrading of the
center's retail area, and the possible construction of a multi-city senior center. An
upcoming agenda item, the site plan review for the Erickson's New Market
expansion, is a piece in the puzzle for the Center's revitalization.

Consent Agenda

GAC Bids
Report 94-146

Buscher/Scanlon
Property Acquisition
Report 94-147
Resolution 94-076

TIP #18 Tenant
Relocation - Buscher
Report 94-148

Kollar Property
Acquisition
Report 94-149
Resolution 94-077

TIF #18 Tenant
Relocation - Kollar
Report 94-150

Project 94-4
Advertisement for
Bids
Report 94-151
Resolution 94-078

Wooddale Site Plan
Extension
Report 94-152

Public Hearing

TIP #24 Creation
Report 94-153
