The applicant is requesting the park dedication fee be
waived because the split would not place a strain on the park system. The
impact of the subdivision would be minimal and exceeds minimum lot
standards of the R~ 1 District.

Mattila said a double wide mobile home would be installed on Parcel B.
According to State Legislation, a mobile home is required to be placed on a
permanent foundation and connected to utilities. The applicant will adhere
to these requirements.

Gunderman asked if a park dedication fee was paid when the lot was
originally developed. Mattila said the park dedication ordinance was
adopted in the 1980's, and speculates the lot was platted in the 1930's.
Mattila noted that in most subdivisions a park dedication fee is required, but
those have been larger subdivisions. The park dedication fee would be
$750. Gunderman noted concern that the applicant's request is unusual
and varies from previous subdivision requirements.

Vouchers
Report 93-128

Family Center
Construction Servo
Report 93-130

Fuhrman Property
Report 93-131

Halva Addition
Street & Utility
Report 93-133
Resolution 93-066

Chambers Redesign

Public Hearina

Peterson subdivision
Report 93-134
Resolution 93-067
