The cost breakdown involves: <br />information gathering and base mapping - $2,500, analysis of urban design <br />issues - $2,800, analysis of landscape and streetscape issues - $3,200, <br />and meetings and special presentations - $1,600. <br /> <br />Rebelein feels that if staff is comfortable with the amount, she would <br />approve the project. She asked if the expense ultimately is passed on to <br />the development's purchasers. Childs said the streetscape costs would not <br />be borne by the developers, however, costs would be recovered by the <br />taxes paid by the development's property owners. Mattila noted that the <br />Council will have opportunity to review the project at the time the site plan <br />is presented. <br /> <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Williams, to APPROVE THE HIRING OF <br />WILLIAM SANDERS OF SANDERS, WACKER, WEHRMAN AND BERG LEY <br />FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE DOWNTOWN DESIGN STANDARDS. <br /> <br />5 Ayes ~ 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Announcements and Uodates <br /> <br />Brightwood Hills Golf Course is offering a new program called "Lunch Time <br />Special" where customers pay $1.00/hole to golf during the lunch hour. <br /> <br />Pike Lake and Bel Air Elementary Schools will hold D.A.R.E.
