APPROVAL OF PERMIT FROM RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT. <br />2. APPROVAL OF FINAL GRADING AND DRAINAGE PLAN BY THE <br />CITY ENGINEER. <br />3. FOUR ADDITIONAL HONEYLOCUST TREES BE PLANTED ALONG <br />THE EAST WALL OF THE OFFICE; THE CANADIAN HEMLOCK <br />TREES BE REPLACED WITH 6 FT BLACK HILLS SPRUCE; INCREASE <br />THE HEIGHTS OF THE NORWAY PINE FROM 2 TO 6 FT. <br />ADDITIONAL BLACK HILLS SPRUCE TO BE PLANTED ALONG THE <br />240 FT LONG NORTH WALL OF THE BUILDING. LOCATIONS TO <br />BE APPROVED BY THE CITY FORESTER. ALSO, INCLUSION OF <br />TEMPORARY BUFFERING/SCREENING ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF <br />THE BUILDING. <br />4. DEDICATION OF 16 FT OF ADDITIONAL RIGHT-OF~WAY ALONG <br />CO. RD. E AND 10FT OF ADDITIONAL RIGHT -OF-WA Y ALONG <br />OLD HWY 8 TO ACHIEVE 49.5 FT OF RIGHT~OF-WAY FROM THE <br />CENTER LINE OF EACH STREET TO THE ADJACENT PROPERTY <br />LINE OF THE SUBJECT SITE. <br />5. RELOCATE BUILDING 10FT TO THE SOUTH TO ALLOW FOR <br />ADDITIONAL GREEN AREA BETWEEN BUILDING AND CO. RD. E. <br />6. PROVISION OF A PERFORMANCE BOND OR LETTER OF CREDIT IN <br />THE AMOUNT EQUAL TO 100% OF THE COST OF ALL SITE <br />IMPROVEMENTS, EXCLUDING THE BUILDING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Announcements and Uodates <br /> <br />New Brighton received a ReLeaf Program Grant in the amount of $5,000 for <br />the planting of 100 trees. <br /> <br />Senator Randy Kelley introduced legislation which would combine all <br />prosecutions into one body. Benke suggested Council should contact <br />Senator Novak and Representative Evans regarding possible increase costs <br />to the City. Rebelein feels the City should look at the issue and how much <br />responsibility is necessary. He presented to Council a flag which was a gift from the Council Visit <br />of Ulverstone, Tasmania. He noted the many similarities between the city <br />governments which are currently reviewing possible consolidations and <br />mergers of city services. <br />
