Motion Carried,

Public HearinQ - 7:50-7:54 p.m.

City Engineer Les Proper presented the Lake Diane Restoration Project.

Each year, Lake Diane residents discuss their work plan and budget, On
October 5, the residents agreed to budget $1 ,000 for further excavation of
a bog, $150 for aerator parts and $550 for electricity. A $919.79 balance
will be carried over from 1992, so an $800 levy is needed.

In accordance to the Lake Restoration Policy, the City would pick up 25%
of the project costs or $200. the remainder of $600 would be levied
against the Lake Diane special taxing district consisting of the 24 shoreland
lots. A copy of this report was mailed to each Lake Diane resident.

Williams asked if progress has been made towards the bog. Proper said the
bog was excavated once, and quite a bit was removed. However, the bog
continues to grow and could possibly takeover the lake if it is not cut
down.

There were no comments from the audience.

Consent Agenda

Final Payment,
Project 92-1
Report 92-222

Reapportionment of
Assessments
Report 92-224
Resolution 92-109

MNDot Agreement
Report 92-225
Resolution 92-110

Senior Citizen
Deferment
Report 92-226
Resolution 92-111

Closing Bond Fund
#303
Report 92-228
Resolution 92-113

SCORE Funding
Report 92-229

Public Hearina

Lake Diane
Restoration Project
Report 92-230
