Benke noted that approval of the first reading does not eliminate <br />future revisions. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams. seconded by Larson, to WAIVE THE FIRST READING <br />AND ADOPT THE ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE SECTIONS 4- <br />11.4-12.4.105,4-109, AND 4-113, ALL RELATING TO REGULATION OF <br />THE SALE OF NON-INTOXICATING AND INTOXICATING LIQUOR; AND <br />DIRECT STAFF TO NOTIFY EXISTING LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENTS AND <br />INTERESTED PARTIES OF THESE PROPOSED CHANGES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Announcements and Uodates <br /> <br />Council congratulated Childs for being eJected Vice-President of the <br />Association of Minnesota Municipalities. <br /> <br />New Brighton Fire Marshal Mark Bishop and resident George Roberts <br />received the 1992 North Suburban Gavel Association Leadership Awards. <br /> <br />League of Minnesota Cities Conference will be held the week of June 9, <br /> <br />The Senior Center Task Force will meet May 27, RFP's have been sent to <br />25 architectural firms to perform preliminary studies on needs. <br /> <br />The North Central Cable's financial report relating to its sale is available. <br />One issue is inadequate funding for capital items.
