Gunderman said Ms. Wetterling will speak at Sunnyside School in April. Williams suggested possibly combining the two events. Childs will further research and report back to Council. Officer Ed Werneke was one of four state D.A.R.E. Officers to receive DARE Award the Statewide D.A.R.E. Achievement Award. The Ramsey County League of Local Governments (RCllG) and Ramsey RCLLG County legislators will meet January 15. Williams said the RCLlG feels the Ramsey County Consolidation Study Consolidation Study Commission has not provided enough information in order to evaluate efficiencies and benefits to involved communities. Rebelein noted that the Ramsey County Charter Commission has asked for an extension to review the report. Childs said the Commission's cost savings report will be completed the end of January. Cities will receive copies of the report and will be asked for feedback. Childs noted that all the involved cities have provided many staff hours during the study. Williams feels suburbs need to meet with their Legislators to clearly outline their concerns. The Stockyards Days Float received an invitation to attend three St. Paul Winter Carnival events.
