In April, Mr. Nixon expressed an <br />interest in donating the parcel. and at that time, Council authorized an <br />environmental assessment on the site. <br /> <br />Robert Nixon <br />Donation <br />Agreement <br />Report 91-200 <br />Resolution 91.88 <br /> <br />The assessment found no significant potential for environmental concern, <br />and no evidence of hazardous materials disposed on the site. Benke said <br />the majority of the site is unbuildable and is a potential wetland area. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City Attorney Charlie LeFevere said Mr. Nixon's decision to donate the <br />parcel may have been motivated by tax reasons. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman. seconded by Rebelein, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND ADOPT THE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION OF 9.94 ACRES <br />FROM ROBERT NIXON AND AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT. <br /> <br />5 Ayes ~ 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br />
