<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held Tuesday, <br />September 10,1991, at 7:33 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Gunderman, Larson, Rebelein and Williams (7:35) <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: David Childs, City Manager <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br /> <br />Council Agenda <br /> <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Larson, to APPROVE THE COUNCIL <br />AGENDA. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Williams, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE AUGUST 27, 1991 COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Commission Minutes - None <br /> <br />50ecial Order of Business <br /> <br />The recently approved multi-city senior citizen center study allows for the <br />appointment of representatives from each city (Mounds View, New <br />Brighton, Fridley and Spring Lake Park) to serve on a task force. <br /> <br />Councilmembers Rebelein and Williams and three New Brighton residents <br />have submitted their names. The first meeting of the task force will be <br />September 12, and a chairperson will be appointed at that time. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Larson, to APPOINT CHAR <br />SAMUELSON, DORRAINE OLSON.
