The applicants would need to submit <br />additional information to address this concern. <br /> <br />Public Works <br /> <br />The Engineering staff has reviewed the proposed plans and requested additional information on <br />the grading, drainage and utility demands for the site. Because the property is located on a <br />capped landfill, both the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) and Rice Creek <br />Watershed District must review the plans. Staff is still waiting for feedback from these <br />regulatory agencies. <br /> <br />In addition, the Director of Public Works has requested that the applicants furnish a traffic study <br />to determine the impacts of the expanded use on the public road system in New Brighton. The <br />applicant has indicated there are working with a consultant on this issue, although a copy of the <br />study is not yet available. <br /> <br />Public Safety <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />No comments have been received from Public Safety staff. The Fire Marshal has received a set <br />of plans. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation <br /> <br />No comments have been received from Parks and Recreation. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Correspondence was received from the following individuals or organizations: <br /> <br />· City of Mounds View, City Council (opposed) <br />· Fed-Tec, Inc., Mounds View (opposed) <br />· Dymax, Mounds View (opposed) <br /> <br />Copies of the letters are included in the packet. <br /> <br />MI:>iNESOTA STATUTES 15.99 (60-DAY DEADLINE) <br /> <br />The petitioners' submitted their applications on September I, 2006; however the applications <br />were determined to be incomplete. Additional information was supplied by the applicants and <br />the "60-day clock" started on September 18, 2006. City Council action would be required by <br />November 17, 2006, unless the City notifies the applicants of its desire to extend the "clock" for <br />an additional 60 days. Notification would be required if the Planning Commission were to table <br />. action until its next regular meeting on November 21,2006. <br />
