That any plugging or impairment of the operation of the <br />City sewer system with grease will be considered prima <br />facia evidence that Section 24-8 of the City Code, <br />Section 15-137 of the City Code, Article V, Section 5-4A <br />of the Rules and Regulations for the Metropolitan Sewer <br />Disposal System have been and are being violated and that <br />the right of the rendering plant to use the City sewer <br />system is thereby immediately suspended. The amount of <br />grease discharged into the City sewer system shall be <br />100 mg. per liter or less. If the City sanitary sewer <br />system or lift station wet well becomes plugged as a <br />result of the operations at the rendering plants, the <br />cost of cleaning shall be paid by the rendering plants <br />making use of that portion of the sewer system which has <br />become plugged. <br /> <br />4. That Gordon Rendering Company be appraised that the <br />City of New Brighton will continue to work with the <br />MPCA and the Metropolitan Sewer Board to assure that <br />all applicable rules, regulations and codes are complied <br />with. <br /> <br />5. That no less than two, and at the City's discretion, up <br />to four stack tests are to be made each year and that <br />frequent inspections be made by the City Sanitarian to <br />make sure the Gordon Rendering Company is complying with <br />the city's requirements. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That violation of, or failure to <br />comply with, any condition of this Offensive Trades License <br />shall be cause of suspension or revocation of this license, and <br />that such suspension or revocation shall be considered by the <br />City Council. <br /> <br />Adopted this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />,1979. <br /> <br />James W.
