<br />~ty of New Brighton <br />council proceedings <br />July 26, 1977 <br /> <br />Richard Brama, representing Brighton village apartments <br />and the Bryant-Franklin corporation,indicated that he had added <br />a postscript to their letters clarifying their approval for <br />placement of the berm on their property. <br /> <br />Mayor Bromander directed, with consent of the council, that <br />the letter from Bramante's Brighton village and the <br />Bryant-Franklin corporation be received and placed in <br />the minutes. <br /> <br />The city.Planner reviewed the planning report <br />and the planning commission recommendations. <br /> <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Fisher to waive reading <br />of resolution and to adopt resolution entitled <br />RESOLUTION SUBDIVIDING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW <br />BRIGHTON (generallY east of Old HWY 8 and north of <br />14th street NE) <br />4 ayes- 0 nayes- carried <br /> <br />LOWY <br />Enterprises <br />Building <br />permit <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 19G4 <br /> <br />Ed Mak ie, a.rch i tec t, Mr.. Rehbe in and Mr. LOWY, <br />property owners were present to answer questions. <br /> <br />councilman Werdouschegg asked if the applicant had <br />received Ramsey county approval for grading on the northern <br />driveway. <br /> <br />Mr. M~ie replied that the county had approved the proposed <br />plans and that the county's letter indicated approval would be <br />fOD~arded to the city council. <br /> <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Fisher to authorize administrative <br />authority to issue building permit to LoWY Enterprises <br />for construction of office and warehouse building at 1565 1st Ave <br />NW. subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />conformance with site and landscape plans signed by the <br />architect and the city planner and dated July 26, 1977 <br />4 ayes 0 nayes- carried <br /> <br />Mayor Bromander directed, with consent of the council that <br />letter of . resignation from Gerald R. smith, dated July 6, 1977, <br />be received and placed in the minutes. <br />Motion by Hardt, seconded by Fisher to defer action on appointment <br />to park Board and direct administration to not place this item <br />on the agenda for consideration until directed by a councilmember. <br />4 ayes- 0 nayes-carried <br />
