Dear Mr. Jacobson and Officer Paetznick: <br /> <br />My client asked me to send to you their proposed mitigation plan which we hope you <br />will endorse so that they can present the plan to the city council for approval. <br /> <br />MITIGATION PLAN FOR TIMBER CREST APARTMENTS <br /> <br />1, Owner/Manager will have security company patrol the property on a regular basis as <br />proposed by Mr. Roggenbauer of Investigation and Security, Inc. and Spartan <br />Protection Services and referenced in his Proposal for Improvement of Living and <br />Security at Timber Crest Apartment Complex dated October 20, 2006. <br /> <br />2, Owner/Manager will increase security by checking all new tenant applicants' <br />backgroW\d and complete screening process prior to signing any rental agreements. <br />Within the confines of federal and state non-discrimination and housing laws, the <br />Owner/Manager will not rent to tenants with improper credit, prior evictions or a <br />criminal record. <br /> <br />3. All lease terms will be month to month in order to make it easier to evict problem <br />tenants. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Owner/Manager will insure that all interior and exterior lighting on the property is <br />operational. <br /> <br />. <br />
