<br />. . <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />r"""7\ MAY 20, 1986 <br />(". , PAGE 2 <br /> <br />StaFF stated the minfmum driveway requirement is 22 feet, <br />although the Fire department requests 24 Feet. <br /> <br />Representative Benke asked if there was to be parking along the <br />drive. <br /> <br />StaFf stated visitor parking spaces have been provided. <br /> <br />Mr. Thyen stated parkfng was also available fn front of each <br />drive. Mr. Thyen asked if there was a mfnfmum setback of the <br />drive along the apartment property. <br /> <br />StaFf stated there was none. <br /> <br />Chairman Baker stated a 22 foot drive could leave rive feet along <br />the east side or the drive. <br /> <br />Commissioner Blomquist suggested working with Les Proper to <br />install a small extension on the lines. <br /> <br />Commissioner Becker stated a 22 Foot drive would seem adequate iF <br />there is no parking permitted along the drive. <br /> <br />Mr. Thyen recalled that the Fire department had stated they would <br />bring their rigs in through the rear or the townhomes, iF needed. <br /> <br />Chairman Baker stated he would be in Favor or a 22 foot drive as <br />long as as much of a buFFer as possible (4 1/2 to 5 Feet) was <br />maintained along the east property line. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Sande to recommend approval of <br />LP-198 subject to the Following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the private drive through the town home development <br />be a minimum of 22 Feet. <br /> <br />2. That all building structures including decks be setback <br />the required 25 Feet From the perimeter of the PRO <br />boundaries. <br /> <br />3. ConFormance with site, building and landscape plans as <br />approved and signed and dated by the applicant and City <br />Planner. <br /> <br />7 ayes, 0 nays.
