Ernie asked that the preliminary site plan be revised to delete the trees that were on the site of the original building. Also, the existing number of parking spaces should be noted on that plan. The Fire Department access drive may be required to be 24' wide. The drive into the new pal-king area of 20 parking spaces is drawn to be 19'-6" wide. There are 54 existing parking spaces and an additional 20 spaces provided as part of the addition. John Ostlund stated that if additional spaces are required by the City, then a Joint Powers Agreement may be required to allow the City to use school parking and the school to use the adjacent city park spaces. 2. The Architect noted that the existing sign, flagpole and some of the existing shrub would be relocated into the island bet ween the existing bus-drive and the new parking spaces. John Ostlund will check with the City Forester about the possibility of relocating an existing pine tree. 3. The Fire Department access to the south side of the building may be best achieved from 13th Street. The Architect suggest that Mr. Bauer, the Fire Chief, look at the working drawing site plan for a better understanding of how the contours at the slope would be affected by this addition. 4. The Architect reviewed the location of the assumed property line, the 2-hour area separation wall with a B-Label It-hour door and electrical hold-open, and the I-hour corridor walls.
