Consensus <br />was to authorize Sande to attend the Conference sponsored by Upper Mississippi River <br />Basin Association. <br />8, CAC Mimites of 5-6-87 Meeting. Board reviewed the Minutes, noting particular re- <br />quests: COlIlIleI1ts on CAC By-Laws as distributed with the }1inutes, and a request for <br />reminder mawrandum to RCWD conmmities regarding RCWD pennit requirements as stated <br />in the Permit Infonnation brochure dated 1-1-84. After discussion, Board directed <br />Torpe to draft a letter and bring to next meeting. Managers discussed By-Laws, noting <br />Comnittee is changing number of members which constitute a quonnn, which is their <br />prerogative, and voiced no objections to the By-Laws as written. <br />9. Confinn/Cancel 509 Meeting of 5-21-87. Managers discussed briefly items for the <br />Agenda 5-21-87, and will meet at Shoreview City Hall, 7:30 PM. <br />10. Torpe distributed rough draft transcription of tapes recording the 4-13-87 meeting <br />with wbite Bear Town Board et aI, noting an hour of the taped meeting was blank. Man- <br />agers will write in as they recall events transpired. <br />11. Letter from Timber Ridge Townhouse Association dated May 1, 1987. Gretchen Swanson <br />was present to report severe erosion on their property and on Anoka County Park property <br />adjacent Rice Creek. Swanson has contacted City of Fridley, Anoka County Parks, Anoka <br />Soil & Water Conservation District and the MnDNR. She discussed with the Managers, <br />seeking assistance in remedying the erosion problem. Board asked Engineer Willenbring <br />to contact Anoka County and discover the cause of the erosion, make suggestions on how <br />it might be remedied. <br />12.
