<br />.. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />APRIL 5, 1988 <br /> <br />6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />Baker, Blomquist, Erickson, Jensen, Livingston, Sande <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Becker <br /> <br />GENERAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />PL-168 <br /> <br />James Senden <br /> <br />Mattila reviewed the case report concerning an application for <br />final plat approval creating 4 industrial lots. <br /> <br />James Senden, the applicant, was present. <br /> <br />Baker commented the changes on the plat were the changes requested <br />by the Rice Creek Watershed District and the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Baker, seconded by Erickson'to RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF <br />FINAL PLAT PL-168, CONDITIONED ON: <br /> <br />1. PERMIT APPROVAL BY THE RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT. <br />2. VACATION OF THE PORTION OF 2ND STREET NW NOT INCLUDED IN <br />THE BRIGHTON CORPORATE PARK PLAT. <br /> <br />6 Ayes - 0 Nays, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />LP-266 <br /> <br />CMS, Inc. <br /> <br />. Mattila briefly reviewed the case report concerning an application <br />for site plan review to construct an office/warehouse building in <br />the Brighton Corporate Park development area. <br /> <br />Jeff Robers, Design Director at Mar-Len, Ken Johnson, CMS Inc., and <br />James Senden were present~ <br /> <br />In answer to a question from Baker, Mattila stated the fire <br />hydrants had been located after the Fire Department had reviewed <br />the concept plan; the hydrant is located strategically to serve two <br />buildings. <br /> <br />Baker stated the placement of a hydrant away from the road is most <br />unusual. <br /> <br />There was a discussion of the placing of the hydrants and the <br />necessity of an access road around the site. <br /> <br />Locke concurred the placing of the hydrant is somewhat unusual. <br />
