<br />~~ <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION CONSIDERATION AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />August 16, 1977 <br /> <br />The City Planner reviewed his comments, noting that the Council <br />had recently approved the building permit for the office/warehouse <br />complex. <br /> <br />Mr. Ed Mackie, architect representing the property owners, was <br />present to answer questions. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wickland asked if an exchange could be worked out <br />to provide the entire front yard with landscaping. <br /> <br />Mr. Mackie noted that in all projects they work, they place sod <br />around the building to enhance the appearance. Mr. Mackie stated <br />that he felt the owners would be agreeable to sodding the entire <br />front yard. <br /> <br />Motion by Anderson, seconded by Medved, to recommend. approval <br />of LP-54 based on the following findings of fact: <br /> <br />1. The application meets all Zoning Code requirements. <br /> <br />2. The plans are complete and contain all required <br />information. <br /> <br />3. The landscaping is extensive and generally well placed. <br /> <br />4. The subject building is a minor addition to the develop- <br />ment which was approved at the July 26 Council meeting. <br /> <br />It is further recommended that the approval be conditioned on the <br />entire front yard being sodded. <br /> <br />3 AYES - 0 NAYES - CARRIED <br />L-- <br />
