~~

PLANNING COMMISSION CONSIDERATION AND RECOMMENDATION

August 16, 1977

The City Planner reviewed his comments, noting that the Council
had recently approved the building permit for the office/warehouse
complex.

Mr. Ed Mackie, architect representing the property owners, was
present to answer questions.

Commissioner Wickland asked if an exchange could be worked out
to provide the entire front yard with landscaping.

Mr. Mackie noted that in all projects they work, they place sod
around the building to enhance the appearance. Mr. Mackie stated
that he felt the owners would be agreeable to sodding the entire
front yard.

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Medved, to recommend. approval
of LP-54 based on the following findings of fact:

1. The application meets all Zoning Code requirements.

2. The plans are complete and contain all required
information.

3. The landscaping is extensive and generally well placed.

4. The subject building is a minor addition to the develop-
ment which was approved at the July 26 Council meeting.

It is further recommended that the approval be conditioned on the
entire front yard being sodded.

3 AYES - 0 NAYES - CARRIED
L--
