<br />City of NewyBrighton <br />Mark Murlowski, building contractor, also indicated <br />that Berger has every intention of completing the <br />development plans. <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Blomquist to authorize <br />the issuance of a building permit to Berger <br />Transfer and Storage Company for phase I of <br />LP-78 to permit construction of a warehouse <br />building in the area north of 3rd Street NW, <br />west of Old Highway #8 subject to the landscaping <br />of the area proposed for future buildings and of <br />those areas initially used by the applicant <br />and further subject to all future development being <br />in conformance with site and landscape plans signed <br />by the applicant and City Planner and dated January <br />23, 1979. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Paul Donley was present to answer questions. <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Benke to <br />extend special use permit SP-81 subject <br />to the condition that if additional parking <br />spaces are warranted as determined by the City <br />Council that the school district will install <br />the necessary parking spaces. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Douglas Johnston, 102 Windsor Lane, company <br />treasurer, was present to answer questions. <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek <br />to find that the request of Proto Sheet Metal <br />and Manufacturing Incorporated for a building <br />for precision sheet metal work and office uses <br />on the property generally south of UOP Johnson <br />and west of Old Highway #8 is consistent with the <br />proposed comprehensive plan. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Motion byBlomquist, seconded by Benke to <br />waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON (generally <br />south of 10th Street NW, north of 8th Street <br />NW, east of 11th Avenue NW). <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist <br />to waive the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION <br />CERTIFYING COST INCURRED BY THE CITY FOR THE <br />ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCE ON PRIVATE PROPERTY <br />TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR FOR-COLLECTION WITH OTHER <br />TAXES. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br />LP-81 <br />Community <br />Center <br />Report No. <br />Resource <br />78-184 <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />Consistency <br />Proto Sheet Metal <br />Report No. 79-479 <br />Minor Subdivision <br />Gordon Hedlund <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2249 <br />Abatement <br />Nuisance <br />RESOLUTION <br />of Public <br />NO. 2250 <br />-5-
