We respectfully re- <br />quest a finding by the Planning Commission and the City <br />Council that the proposed project is consistant with proposed <br />comprehensive planning for New Brighton. <br /> <br />PROJECT: Our basic plan is to builg a 35,000 square foot <br />building, eighteen (l8) feet high ~rspancrete construction, <br />fully equipped with sprinkler and alarm systems. Our R-20 <br />rating and our heat saving ideas for.ournew construction <br />will qive us approximately a 50% savings on fuel. Our auto- <br />mation will double our output volume. With waterfall booths <br />we will be putting no contaminants in the air. With water- <br />base paints we are now using,tand will increase in use, our <br />fire hazard has and will continue to drop. B & Y Metal <br />Painting Inc. is now 9~1o waterbase and Chemical Technology <br />Inc. is about 5~1o waterbase. Within one year our total <br />plant will be 80% to 90% waterbase and in two years 100% <br />waterborn coating leaving us a very low fire risk. <br />
