<br />,. <br /> <br />.p <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />LP-85 <br />Page #2 <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION CONSIDERATION AND RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Board of Review <br />May 15, 1979 <br /> <br />LP-85, Wolkerstorfer Company, Inc. <br /> <br />Chairman Brown stated that the applicant proposes to construct a <br />36,520 square foot addition to an existing building commonly known <br />as the Kausel foundry Building. <br /> <br />The applicant, Bill Wolkerstorfer, was present to answer questions. <br /> <br />Commissioner Livingston inquired about the nature of the business <br />and the proposed method to be used for waste disposal. <br /> <br />,Mr. Wolkerstorfer commented that the company was involved in metal <br />finishing, coating and plating. No agreements have been made in <br />regard to was~e disposal. The company presently meets allEPA <br />Standards and is anticipating the new regulations to be formulated <br />in 1980. At the present site, tests and analysis indicate that the <br />firm since 1967 have results that are well below the National <br />Standards in regard to effluent. <br /> <br />Motion by Brown, second by Livingston to recommend approval of <br />lP-85 'contingent on the conformance with site 'and landscape plans <br />as submitted and signed by the City Planner and the applicant. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends that LP-85 be approved contingent on the conformance <br />with site and landscape plans as submitted and stgned by the City <br />Planner and the applicant. <br /> <br />~,~:J,~~ <br />~-; 1?/77 <br /> <br /> <br />, p~ /Jf. k/u~ <br /> <br />, <br />
