There is an additional storage building under <br />construction at this time and such construction <br />is not a part of the approved plans nor has a <br />building permit been issued. <br />6. The area north of the garage according to the site <br />plan is to be landscaped and not used for the <br />storage of equipment. The concrete pad north of <br />the garage will have to be removed. <br /> <br />Staff has given your firm one and a half years since the <br />approval in June, 1979 to complete this project. The building <br />has been occupied for over a year and normal temporary <br />certificates of occupancy terminate after 9 months. A <br />temporary certificate of occupancy allows the building to be <br />occupied and gives 9 months to complete the required site work. <br />No temporary certificate of occupancy has been issued for the <br />building and technically city staff should not allow you to <br />occupy the bui1ding~'However, staff during the last year <br />and a half have allowed time to complete the required work and <br />occupy the building. <br /> <br />There has been very little change or progress by your firm to <br />comply with the plans. Instead of the situation improving it <br />appears that there has been an increase in the amount of debris, <br />junk and miscellaneous equipment stored everywhere on the site. <br />Staff has been very lenient with you and given you ample time <br />to conform with site and bui1ding'requirements. <br /> <br />Because of the situation explained above I am requiring the <br />following attion of you to take place within 30 days of the <br />receipt of this notification: <br /> <br />1. Remove the additional storage structurei; <br />2. Remove and/or p1a€e all machinery, parts, debris <br />stored-on the site in the designated storage area; <br />3. Install the required crushed rock in the aforementioned <br />storage area according to the approved site pl~n; <br />4. Make the front entrance handicap accessible; <br />5. Erect the required official handicap parking sign; <br />6. Provide a bid by a licensed contractor on the <br />following items: <br />A. Installation of brick on the building. <br />B. Installation of the split rail cedar fence in <br />the front yard. <br />c. Installation of required 6 foot redwood fence. <br />D. Installation of a fence enclosing the storage area. <br />E. Installation of the required concrete curbing. <br />F. Removal of e1evated'concrete slab to the rear of <br />the building. <br />G. Removal of concrete north of the garage and the <br />installation of sod. <br />
