<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />AMENDMENT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Comprehensive Plan Amendment has been proposed for property <br />located at 386 and 366 Cleveland Avenue SE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: <br /> <br />1 . The Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, t;leld a <br />public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan Amendment on June 15, 1993, <br />and all persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be <br />heard, <br />2. The City Council considered the Cdmprehensive Plan Amendment at its <br />June 22, 1993, meeting. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council makes the following Findings <br />of Fact in respect to the Comprehensive Plan Amendment: <br /> <br />1 . The Comprehensive Plan currently designates the subject property for <br />Medium Density Residential. <br />2. The Comprehensive Plan Amendment would redesignate the subject <br />property for Limited Business. <br />3. The Comprehensive Plan Amendment would enlarge on existing Limited <br />Business designation. <br />4. The subject property is located between 1-35W and Cleveland Avenue SE, <br />5. A portion of the subject property is proposed for office development. <br />6. The Limited Business classification would encourage commercial land uses <br />on the subject property which would generate nominal amounts of traffic <br />onto Cleveland Avenue SE, are not sensitive to freeway noise, and would <br />serve to buffer the single family home east of Cleveland Avenue SE from <br />the freeway. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Comprehensive Plan Amendment is hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd day of June, 1993. <br /> <br />Robert Benke, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />David M,Childs, City Manager <br /> <br />Margaret Egan, <br />Finance Director/City Clerk <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br />
