<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 10, 1990 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Consent Agenda, continued <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF AUTHORIZATION OF APPLICATION FOR DEFERMENT OF <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS/LONG LAKE AREA STREET RECONSTRUCTION, <br />PROJECT 89-7 AND PROJECT 85-1. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Public Hearing - 7:35 - 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />David Childs, City Manager, said Los Banditos Inc. has applied for <br />an on-sale small restaurant liquor license at 2321 Palmer Drive. <br /> <br />Steve Bornus, Police Officer, conducted an investigation of each <br />incorporator and the two Wisconsin restaurants, and found no <br />criminal conviction data. Also, a favorable recommendation from the <br />Green Bay Police was received. After review of these documents, the <br />Police Department recommends approval of the liquor license. <br /> <br />Wade Galloway, Los Banditos owner, said they are anxious to locate <br />in New Brighton and anticipate a grand opening to occur in December. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Larson, TO CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Gunderman, TO GRANT LOS BANDITOS, <br />INC. A SMALL RESTAURANT ON-SALE/SUNDAY SALES LIQUOR LICENSE PROVIDED <br />THAT: PROOF OF LIQUOR LIABILITY INSURANCE AND PROOF OF WORKERS' <br />COMPENSATION INSURANCE IS SUPPLIED. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />David Childs, City Manager, said the first reading of the garbage <br />haulers licensing ordinance amendment was held at the August 14th <br />Council Meeting.
