<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 10, 1990 <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates Announcements & Updates <br /> <br />The AMM will meet at McGuires Inn on July 11th at 7:30 a.m. AMM Meeting <br /> <br />The RCLLG picnic will be held on July 18th at the Tamarack Nature RCLLG Picnic <br />Center in White Bear Township. <br /> <br />The EDC will meet on July 19th at 7:30 a.m. EDC Meeting <br /> <br />Benke noted the staff's tremendous efforts in clearing the debris Storm Clean-up <br />after the recent windstorm. He noted the need to formalize a policy <br />for procedures after such severe storms. <br /> <br />A Council Five Year Plan worksession will be held on July 23rd at 5 Year Plan Worksession <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Los Banditos Restaurant will go forward with their project. Los Banditos <br /> <br />Staff will investigate the parking ban in the Irondale School area. Parking Ban <br /> <br />Council noted receipt of a letter in regards to the proposed U.S. U.S. Oil Facility <br />Oil facility. Staff recently reviewed revised design plans of a <br />warehouse facility to be located on 5th Avenue. Upon review, Staff <br />noted their concerns to U.S. Oil in regards to facility size, design <br />aspect, value and the proposed use. Locke feels it is in the City's <br />best interest to wait for a higher caliber facility. Installing a <br />lower quality building on the site may reduce interest from higher <br />quality projects locating on adjacent lots. LeFevere said a formal <br />response to the developer may be appropriate. Council noted their <br />concerns of the proposed facility's use and value, and asked the <br />staff to prepare a response to the developer's proposal. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Larson to ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 11:56 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />M~~an <br /> <br />Finance Director/City Clerk <br />
