The absence of the required 5 foot green area on the rear property <br />. . .Iine was necessary to allow for better traffic movement for deliveries. <br />pubUc safe1y equIpment, and accessibility for the adjoining neighbors <br />to access their properties without creating the need to integrate with <br />the traffic in front of the store. <br /> <br />2. The parking lot setback aligned with the utility easement was reduced <br />to 6 feet to allow for a continuous straight line curb along the irregular <br />lot Une that would allow for a more balanced appearing landscaped <br />area. <br /> <br />We do not feel that either non-conformity is detrimental to the commu- <br />nity . <br /> <br />We feel that the addition of self service gasoline provides another com- <br />munity service available with the other products and services Tom Thumb <br />currently offers. and would allow for continued expansion and upgrading <br />of those goods and services we are currently providing. <br /> <br />Thank you. <br /> <br />Sincerely . <br />Tom Thumb Food Markets.
