Wil1iams reque.ted stiff <br />to research the deteriorating of rental units in New Brighton. <br /> <br />Kelley received a copy of the Cota Club's membership list and <br />corporate status. The Internal Revenue Service said the club <br />qualifies for a 501C3 Charitable Organization status. The <br />membership list includes twenty members located in New Brighton and <br />surrounding suburbs, but Kelley recognized only a few names from the <br />list. The membership list will be provided to Council. <br /> <br />Benke feels, in the future, questionable organizations that apply <br />for gambling license exemptions should be thoroughly investigated. <br /> <br />The Economic Development Commission and the League of Women Voters <br />will present their recommendations to the Council next month for a <br />City plan for yard waste removal. <br /> <br />Jim Brimeyer, Sathe and Associates, has contacted Benke to conduct <br />a routine review session with the Council to discuss the City <br />Manager's progress and performance. <br /> <br />A Community Center Steering Committee meeting has been scheduled for <br />December 14, 1989, at 7:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The 1990 Budget Hearing will be held on December 18, 1989, at 7:30 <br />p.m. in the Council Chambers. Formal adoption of the budget will <br />be at the December 26, 1989, Counc i 1 meeting.
