grave concerns about possible traffic problems created by that
scenario. There are already four driveways in that one half block
serving many business and congestion can be considerable at busy
times of the day.
I would suggest that a traffic study be conducted by an
independent traffic engineer to try to predict how the Minar.Ford
traffic will impact the traffic flow in this one-half block. Most
of that Minar Ford traffic is diverted away from this area now and
I believe that it could adversely effect the congestion and
accident rate if it were all funnelled into this short stretch of
road.
I am also concerned that careful 'planning be done regarding
the erecting of signs for McDonald's and Minar Ford. With our
driveway being so close to the McDonald's/Minar Ford access, any
sign on the south side of the street between the two accesses would
obscure visibility for those coming and going from our access and
obscure our sign. A small tasteful sign closer to the corner and
in the McDonald's greenway bordering North Innsbruck Drive on the
south would seem to be a possible solution.
Thank you for soliciting our input. Please keep me informed
of the progress of the development plans for both McDonald's and
Minar Ford.
Sincerely,
M. Suzanne Wrigh Ph.
