Exterior City Hall <br />Sign Plan <br />The signage plan was a cooperative effort between staff and Lindberg Report 89-160 <br />Pierce, Inc. Staff identified the sign locations and Lindberg <br />Pierce provided the architectural design and obtained quotations. <br /> <br />Funding for the exterior signage is available from the City Hall <br />renovation fund. The low Quote for the exterior signage was <br />provided by Designer Sign Systems Inc., and signs will be <br />manufactured by the Diskey Sign Company. Four signs will be <br />installed, with three of the signs being illuminated. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Gunderman expressed concerns of the proposed colors, and suggests <br />staff present alternative color selections at the June 27th Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Brandt, to POSTPONE THE APPROVAL <br />OF THE EXTERIOR SIGN PLAN FOR CITY HALL UNTIL THE JUNE 27, 1989, <br />COUNCIL MEETING; AND DIRECT STAFF TO PRESENT ALTERNATIVE COLOR <br />SELECTIONS. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Kevi n Locke, Communi ty Development Di rector, presented for <br />consideration an amendment to the contract for private development <br />with Jerry Svee. <br /> <br />In January of 1988, a development contract was executed between the <br />City and CSA Residential Development, Ltd. for development of the <br />southeast parcel of Tax Increment Financing District #6. The <br />contract required the developer to purchase the property from the <br />City and construct 8 townhouse units.
