Time Answering Service) has been <br />retained to handle all calls. Any calls received between the hours <br />of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., will be investigated immediately by <br />either the City Sanitarian or a Public Works employee depending on <br />the time of day. Records will be kept on all calls. Investigation <br />of complaints received after 10:00 p.m. will be done by the City <br />Sanitarian during normal City Hall office hours. Publ ic Works <br />employees have been trained to handle after hours investigations. <br /> <br />The cost of operating the hot line will include a $60.00/month base <br />charge for the answering service, plus an additional charge of <br />$.60/minute for each minute of answering service above 60 minutes <br />per month. The cost of eveni ng hour odor i nvesti gati on wi 11 be <br />$40.00 per investigation. The maximum expense per week is projected <br />at $200.00. The cost of operating the Odor Hot line will be shared <br />with the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />The official start date has been set for May 15th. News releases <br />will be published in the New Brighton Bulletin, Focus and the Town <br />Crier. The hot line information will also be shown on cable Channel <br />~ <br /> <br />The Odor Hot Line telephone number is: 229-3416. <br /> <br />Locke presented for consideration the purchase of fee title to <br />parcels within the T.I.F. District #6. <br /> <br />Council authorization is needed to purchase the underlying fee title <br />to two easements and several small gaps which exist between <br />previously purchased properties within the north site of T.I.F. <br />District #6. <br /> <br />The si te is proposed to be occupi ed by the Opus offi ce bui 1 di ng <br />project. Earl i er thi s year, the Council authori zed the use of <br />condemnation to clear title to this site and insure the timely <br />purchase of these gap parcels. Condemnation proceedings have begun <br />and property appraisals have been prepared. One of the two <br />remaining claimants to ownership of the gaps within the district, <br />Mildred Trapp, has agreed to sell her interest in any property in <br />T.I.F. District #6 for $3,400.00.
