Report 89-117 <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Public Heari.QJl <br /> <br />Les Proper, Ci ty [ngi neer, presented the conti nued improvement <br />hearing for the Long Lake Area Street Reconstruction Project. <br /> <br />Counci 1 ::onti nued the March 28, 1989, improvement heari I1g on the <br />Long Lake Area project to April 25, 1989, and ordered supplemental <br />information on the following items: <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Long Lake Area Streetj <br />Storm Sewer <br />Improvements <br />Report 89-118 <br />Resolution 89-62 <br /> <br />o A plan for 15th Terrace NW with a skewed centerline to 7:45-9:05 p.m. <br />more closely match the existing road location. <br /> <br />o Information to help determine which side of the 24 foot <br />wide streets should have no parking. <br /> <br />o Additional information to address storm sewer concerns. <br /> <br />TV\t: options have been outl ined for the skewed centerl ine on 15th <br />TelTace N\~. <br /> <br />Option #2 shows a straight street centered at about the existing <br />street which runs at a skew to the right-of-way. This would result <br />in an equal amount of widening on both sides of the street, requires <br />le~s new right-of-way, and may partially save the corner hedges. <br />The owners of the property at 1475 Long Lake Road stated they would <br />not oppose the removal of the hedges. <br />
