February 14. 1989. at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmembers Brandt. Gunderman. and Williams <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Samantha Orduno. Acting City Manager <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Les Proper. Public Works Director <br />Erny Mattila. City Planner <br />Maurie Anderson. Parks and Recreation Director <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman. seconded by Williams to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 24, 1989, COUNCIL MEETING. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes. Motion Carried <br /> <br />Commission Minutes <br /> <br />With Council consent. Mayor Benke received the Park Board Minutes <br />of January 3. 1989; Human Rights Commission Minutes of January 4. <br />1989; Air Quality Board Minutes of January 5. 1989; and <br />Environmental Quality Commission Minutes of January 11. 1989. <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />On behalf of the Council. Mayor Benke thanked the Tri-City American <br />Legion for their donation of $2,000 to support the New Brighton Fire <br />Department. <br /> <br />Cal Lang. Commander.
