Sinda City Manager <br />recommended ppointing Samantha Orduno, Assistant to the City Report 89-11 <br />Manager as Ac ing City Manager with a compensation in the amount of <br />$400.00 per m nth. <br /> <br />Motion by Ben e. seconded by Gunderman. to APPOINT SAMANTHA ORDUNO <br />AS ACTING CIT MANAGER FOR THE PERIOD OF JANUARY 25, 1989, UNTIL A <br />NEW CITY MANA ER IS APPOINTED. FOR SUCH ADDITIONAL DUTIES SHE WILL <br />RECEIVE COMPE SATION OF $400 PER MONTH. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Na es, Motion carried. <br /> <br />The City co tracts with Attorney Tom Hughes to serve as the <br />prosecuting a torney. The prosecuting services are provided for a <br />monthly retai er of $1.925 in 1988. For 1989. it is proposed that <br />the retainer be increased to $2.015 (4.6% change). The monthly <br />retainer is the only fee paid for these services. Sinda commented <br />that Attorney Hughes has served the City well. <br /> <br />Mot i on by Be ke. seconded by Wi 11 i ams. to ADOPT THE RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING CHANGE IN THE MONTHLY FEE FOR THE PROSECUTING <br />ATTORNEY. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Na es. Motion Carried <br /> <br />Sinda explai ed that the City contracts with LeFevere, Lefler. <br />Kennedy, 0 I Bien and Drawz to serve as the Ci ty Attorney. These <br />legal servic s are provided on an hourly basis. In the last few <br />years. the City has relied more heavily on their services because <br />of the TCCAP lawsuit/settlement. <br /> <br />Benke asked <br />LeFevere sai <br />become involv <br />increase $10. <br /> <br />if Principals and Attorneys are one in the same. <br />the attorney fees remain the same unless they would <br />in litigation. but the associate and clerk fees will <br /> <br /> <br />Motion by B nke. seconded by Larson. to ADOPT THE RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING REEMENT WITH THE CITY ATTORNEY. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Na es.
